“Bought an 18 foot Alaskan SSV in 1998 at the Bangor Boat Show in Maine. 40hp 4-stroke Honda. (I live on the ocean.) To make a long story short we got caught in 7 foot white caps 20 miles out. The boat handled like a champion. We were soaked to the skin but the boat had about 2 gallons of water in it. Love this boat.”
